Now
- NVIDIA GPU drawing stability on GTX 16 and RTX 20 cards: confirm the v9.98 fix for invisible new windows on real hardware.
- Smooth input and window dragging with GPU drawing on.
Next
- NVIDIA display engine (stage 6): native mode setting, tear-free page flips and a second monitor. Reading the connected monitors already works (v9.95).
- Faster GPU drawing: window-sized layers instead of full-screen ones, and less work per frame.
- Recovering the GPU after an error without a restart.
Ideas
- Hardware reports sent from inside NoovexOS, shown on this site as a "works on" list.
- Acceleration for more graphics cards. AMD and other NVIDIA cards are detected today and use the firmware framebuffer.
