Privacy Policy

The NoovexOS project operates this website and is responsible for personal information processed through its account services. The operating system does not send background telemetry; using this website, an account or an existing paid membership involves separate data processing described below. New paid memberships are paused while the seller identity is being finalized.

Information and purposes

• Account data: username, authentication credentials (stored by our authentication provider), profile details and account settings to create and secure your account and provide requested services. We do not ask for a personal email address for standard username/password registration.
• Service data: information you submit to account-connected features, including settings, history or files, to deliver those features.
• Connection and security data: IP address, approximate location derived from the connection, requested page, device/browser information, and timestamps to operate the site, detect abuse and troubleshoot errors.
• Support and membership data: messages you send us, subscription status, purchase identifiers and your username if you join the public Supporters list, to respond to you and provide membership benefits.

For accounts and membership we rely on performance of a contract; for security, fraud prevention and service reliability on legitimate interests; for required records on legal obligations; and for optional choices on consent where applicable. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising profiles.

Checkout and sharing

Paddle is our Merchant of Record and operates checkout. During purchase, Paddle collects payment details such as name, email address and card details and handles billing, taxes, invoicing, subscription management and refunds. We receive transaction and subscription identifiers and status needed to provide membership benefits; we do not receive or store full card numbers. See Paddle’s privacy notice.

We share data as needed with hosting and authentication providers, Paddle, service providers operating this site, professional advisers such as legal or accounting advisers, and authorities where required by law. Username listings for active Supporters are public. Providers may process information outside your country; where required, we rely on applicable adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards.

Retention and security

Account and feature data is kept while your account is active and removed or anonymised after a valid deletion request, subject to backups and records we must keep by law. Subscription records are kept as needed to manage membership, disputes and legal obligations. Connection and security logs are kept while needed for operations and abuse investigation. There is currently no guaranteed fixed automatic deletion period for logs or backups; contact us to ask about a specific record. Paddle sets its own retention periods for checkout data.

We use HTTPS for data in transit, access controls for account records and limited access to administrative systems. No system can promise absolute security.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses essential browser storage for sign-in, your theme preference and your consent choice. You can clear site storage in your browser, though this may sign you out or reset your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will explain them and request consent where required.

Your rights and contact

Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. If GDPR applies, you may complain to your data-protection authority; we aim to respond to requests within one month. To make a private request, use the contact method in your purchase receipt for payment data; for NoovexOS account data, contact the project through its issue tracker without posting sensitive information publicly.
